Otford Village Fete Committee is still in a position to consider
donation requests from charities for the funds raised in 2002. They are also looking
for two new committee members. If you would be willing to help, please contact
Mark Stevens on 01959 523881 or Andrew Hicks on 01959 525120. The theme for the
2003 fete is Circus, so please start thinking of how this could be interpreted
for participation in the procession, and for your stall. If you know anyone who
would be willing to lend a suitable vehicle, please let the fete committee know.

If you would enjoy watching a cooking demonstration by Tracey
Lautch from The Pampered Chef then why not join the Otford Oast WI for its first
meeting in 2003 on Thursday, January 16, in the memorial hall at 9.30am. Tracey
will be talking about her range of cooking equipment, which will also be available
to order. If you would like to make some new friends then you are invited to go
along, enjoy a cup of coffee, watch the demonstration and bring the children,
if they are under five, as there will also be a free creché.
