Calling all cyclists. The Friends of Kent Churches’ sponsored cycle ride is being held this Saturday. The idea is to get sponsored for visiting as many churches and chapels as possible within the day, either on two wheels or on foot. The money raised goes to the Trust, who then distributes half to needy churches in the diocese and half is returned to the church. Simon and Ben Wragg and Susan Reid and Sue Stephenson cycled for St Bartholomew’s last year and raised over £900. Simon Wragg (01732 462953) would be pleased go hear from anyone who could spare an hour or so on Saturday for the pleasurable task of registering the visiting cyclists who arrive at St Bartholomew’s throughout the day.
