Everyone who attended the Otford and District Wine Club’s
Annual Dinner Dance in December had a great time with good food and wonderful
music and, so far as the Club is concerned, the festive season is not yet over.
On Wednesday 26th January they are holding a Burns Night Party with haggis, oatcakes,
shortcake and mulled wine to give you just a hint of some of the delicacies that
will be on offer plus a Scottish Raffle.
There will be Scottish music and, of course, recitations of Burns’ poems
besides other entertainment and they are lucky to have Frank and Sally Haggarty
as guest singers. This event will be held in the Memorial Hall starting at 8.00p.m.
and will be free to members but on this occasion, they are having a collection
in aid of the charity of Frank Haggarty’s choice. There will be a small
charge for non-members. You are invited to go along for a great Scottish night
out amongst friends. For further details please contact the Secretary 01732 761359. |

All you have to do is put your tree at the kerbside and they will collect it

trunk is more than 2” it can be taken to Dunbrik Recycling site where it
should be placed in the large garden waste container. The Council will not, however,
