School holidays have begun and those of us who have to
use the roads once again breathe a sigh of relief as we drive along with relatively
little traffic and few delays. It really does show how much we use our cars to
ferry children hither and thither with the resultant traffic jams and pollution.
There is no easy solution to this problem but certainly with more dry conditions
forecast perhaps it would be possible to get up a little earlier and walk to
school if this is practical. |
