Otford Evening WI had an extra visitor, Eli, an alpaca at their meeting on July 12th. He roamed the hall quite happily, making whimpering noises, whilst they heard about camelids from his owner, Tina O'Donnell.
If you want to see if you really have any Cash In your Attic and feel like clearing out your lofts, sheds and garages, why not book a table at their Boot Fair on September 22nd to dispose of any unwanted items. There are only a few stalls left so if you are interested please ring Diana on 01959 522981 for details. |

Otford Parish Council would like to draw your attention to vehicles both moving and parking in the village which are causing a problem. The district council is writing to all parishes on the subject of parking problems, and enforcement, and Otford is considering how best to deal with our sometimes overcrowded car park. There is no solution that will benefit all but the best compromise must be sought and any regulation paid for by the users of the car park. It seems likely that there will be greater enforcement of parking restrictions so they request that you please do not park on double yellow lines. |
