R.A.D.I.O. (Residents Against Development In Otford) offers FREE membership.
Established in 2005, RADIO now enjoys a membership in Otford representing over one third of households. Its success relies heavily on membership, so please join us where you will find an on-line form, or contact Andrea Pinto ( for membership matters only) on Otford 525623.

RADIO now requires much needed funds and a Horse Racing Night fundraiser is set for Saturday 17th May at 7.00pm in the Memorial Hall. Tickets are £5.00, which includes a buffet meal. A licensed bar will be operated. There will also be a raffle. This promises to be a fun evening, so please call 07733 350934 to buy your tickets as soon as possible, to avoid disappointment ! R.A.D.I.O. has been set up to oppose inappropriate development in the village. We are sure that, as a resident of Otford, you are as dismayed as we are at the continued development and urbanisation of our pretty village. We are sure that, like us, you want to see this trend stopped.

We aim to recruit as many members as possible from the village to join us and to become a genuine community pressure group, ready and willing to fight all inappropriate development in the village at local, council and government levels.

The group has already been active in opposing a number of proposed developments in the village, most notably the four applications by Wimpey-Laing Homes to develop 64 and 66 Well Road, all of which were rejected by the Council after determined opposition, co-ordinated by RADIO.

RADIO is run by a committee of local residents. Members assist in distribution of newsletters, planning letters, etc. We are always on the look-out for new volunteers!
