Building Plans

Steady progress is being made towards the building of the new extension.

Electrical, heating and ground surveys have been carried out.

Our architect has been working on the final plans for approval by the PCC.

It is intended that the contract should go out to tender in February and it is hoped that a builder will be appointed in March so that building work can begin forthwith.

Away giving

As previously stated, £13,000 has already been sent for the building of family houses at Msalato College in Tanzania college. With respect to a project in the UK, our church wardens, Derek Shilling and Janet Hunt, recently visited St Mary’s Church, Chalk, near Gravesend, a church in an area of some need which is seeking donations to rebuild their Church Hall. Derek and Janet were impressed with the plans and confident that the Hall would be used in a variety of constructive ways by this lively church. Our donation will mean that the Project can go ahead and as a result the Project Steering Committee have decided to support it.
