New gate - your old key must be exchanged
We have a new gate in place at the entrance to the
club, giving access to the entire club grounds. This incorporates
a new lock, so members who have a key for the padlock need to exchange
this for a key for the new gate.
Contact
Alison Dykes, or bring your old key to the club AGM on 1 March.
Court re-surfacing - complete
Re-surfacing of the top 2 courts has been
completed - except for final painting which will happen in the spring.
You are now free to use the courts as usual.
Also a temporary new gate is in place at the
entrance to the club. The permanent new gate will be installed in
a few weeks, at which time club members will be issue with new keys.
Thank you for your patience during the
re-surfacing work.
Winter tennis for full members
- Tuesdays & Thursdays
Club members of various standards enjoy the club
evenings throughout the year. Tuesday and
very oftern Thursday club sessions have continued through the winter. Play is
7.30 - 9.30pm; we often finish up with a drink in The Crown or The Bull.
With the weather doubtful at this time of year, if you're thinking of
coming along then contact
Julian Ward to make sure that it's on as usual.
Coaching Programme
Coaching is now being run by the coach Max Robinson. Max has been
coaching at the club since the beginning of the year so will be known to

Max Robinson.
Mini red coaching, and ladies’ Friday morning
coaching, will continue to be run by Otford Mini Tennis Club / Mary
Evans. Contact
