Aerobatics Display Coming to Otford

Once again the Otford Village Fete is being held on spring bank holiday Monday, 28th May and Peter Rutterford will be putting on his annual aerobatics display over the fete grounds at about 2:30 pm.

"Peter has been a regular performer at the Otford Village Fete since 1989 and we are delighted that he is again appearing at our annual event", says Patty Chatterjee, the Chair of the Otford Village Fete Committee.

Peter Rutterford started flying at Biggin Hill in 1978.After enjoying normal aircraft for a few years he joined the Tiger Club at Redhill to experience sports flying at first hand.  It wasn't long before he found an aptitude and joy for aerobatics and started a display career in 1987.

This year the fete has over 60 stalls and attractions to entertain young and old.So come and join in the fun.The parade will be passing through the village around 12.30pm before making its way to the Recreation Ground where the fete will officially open at 1.00pm.
